When Yours Truly came out (released Sep. 3, 2013) I was debating on buying it because I wasn't a HUGE fan of Ariana Grande. But after I previewed it on iTunes I really enjoyed the beat of the songs. Ariana's voice is full of so much potential and she is one of my favorite singers.

My favorite song on this album would have to be Tattooed Heart because it shows what a beautiful voice she has. The tune of this song is catchy and every time I listen to it, it's always getting stuck in my head.

The reason I decided to review this album because it was the latest thing I bought on iTunes and I listen to Yours Truly constantly!!!!!!! The only flaw about this album and several people have told me this is that most of the songs sound exactly the same. The only song that is different from the others is The Way featuring Mac Miller. I'm sure this is on everyone's top 10 song list of 2013! It's on mine!

You can see Ariana Grande in the Nickelodeon hit series Sam and Cat!

thanks so much for visiting MaeShows.
have a nice day,

Selena Gomez Stars Dance Tour at the Peterson Event Center in Pittsburgh

 Welcome to my second posting. I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas! Today I am reviewing the Selena Gomez Stars Dance Tour! I went with my friend, Laney and her mom and sister. The concert was held at the Peterson Event Center in Pittsburgh. The opening acts were James David and Emblem 3. We were located on the floor so we had an amazing view of the set and Selena Gomez. Her opening song was Bang Bang Bang which is on her When The Sun Goes Down album.

   Selena was dancing and keeping the audience off their feet the whole time. My favorite song was Come and Get It. During the song she wore the same costume she wore in the music video: Come and Get It. The thing that kind of disappointed me was Selena didn't really have a conversation with the audience like Taylor Swift did. But during Who Says (which was my favorite song she performed) the screen had words to go along with Selena Gomez and she connected with the audience during that song. The ending song was Slow Down and she blasted red confetti and glitter at the audience. I happened to grab a piece off the floor when we were leaving. (;

   Overall I really enjoyed the energy, excitement, and dancing a lot!
 Selena Gomez really made the Stars Dance! Get it, hahaha! Hope you enjoyed and have a wonderful day!

Taylor Swift Red Tour Pittsburgh

   Welcome to MaeShows! Today I'm reviewing the Taylor Swift Red Tour at Heinz Field here in Pittsburgh . My dad took my cousin and I early to tailgate. We hung by the gate entrance waiting to see her enter. After minutes of waiting, her band, dancers, Austin Mahone, and Taylor Swift drove past. We didn't get to meet or talk to Taylor but her band and dancers came out and said "hi" to us!

   Taylor has been one of my favorite singers of all time. The opening acts included Joel Crouse, a new developing country singer, Austin Mahone, a Youtube sensation, and Ed Sheeran, a singer who sung 'Everything Has Changed' with Taylor Swift. Her singing and dancing was spot on. The opening song was 'State of Grace' and her entrance was unforgettable. She stood behind a red curtain and all you could see was her shadow! Then the curtain lifted and there was Taylor! After her first few songs, Taylor had a conversation with the audience thanking us and telling us what inspires her to write songs. During her costume changes she played short videos. One showed home videos from when she was 1 all he way up to 22! The song '22' followed after the video. During her song '22' she ran through the audience to a platform that rose up and that's where she sang 'Everything Has Changed' with Ed Sheeran. Her ending song was 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together', and it was circus themed which was super energetic. Taylor played songs that weren't on her album "Red" like 'You Belong With Me', 'Mean', and 'Our Song'. This was definitely one of the best experience of my life!
